MCW International Surveyors Ltd. is a survey firm established in January 1989 in Hong Kong providing cargo survey services to clients in Hong Kong and overseas. The firm consists of a team of 12 competent surveyors in Hong Kong, and 10 surveyors stationing in China, capable of rendering cargo survey for most kinds of cargo.

Our survey team is managed by master mariners and senior surveyors who have been in the survey profession for quarter of a century with extensive experience and knowledge, and are competent in reporting on cause and extent of damage/loss.

Our services also covered PRC major areas in the Coast from Guangdong up to Shanghai Qingdao Tianjin and Dalian and ports along the Yantze River up to Wuhan. MCW have 2 liaison offices in China, one being at Guangzhou and the other one at Shanghai stationed with 6 & 4 surveyors respectively. Surveyors there are able to attend prompt surveys in the adjacent areas with support from Hong Kong if necessary. Surveyors from Hong Kong office will look after surveys in Hong Kong and also Shenzhen area, and surveys of a complicated nature. In case of complicated electronic machinery problems we consult Hong Kong Polytechnic University for support.

MCW International Surveyors Ltd. received support from many leading insurers in Hong Kong including Japanese Insurances Companies and Bank of China Group Ins. Co., Ltd. leading P & I Clubs etc. Since 1997, over 90% of the Taiwan Insurers have been using our service. Apart from our role as surveyors to cargo insurers, we also serve a few shipping firms and traders for pre-shipment survey.
